DANVILLE, Ky. — Emma Hauser led the Earlham College track teams on Saturday as the Quakers competed in the Centre College Invitational.Hauser won the women's 10,000-meter run with a time of 41:54.95, while finishing seventh in the 5,000-meter run in 19:17.15.Hannah Franklin also place in a pair of events. She was third in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:09.55. In the 100-meter hurdles, Franklin was fourth in 16.38 seconds.The top finishers for the men's squad were Gabriel Penk and Mark Mathy in the 10,000-meter run. Penk was third with a time of 33:34.18, while Mathy posted a 35:03.74 to place fourth.The other women to score for the Quakers were:• Sophia Richard, javelin, 5th with an 87'7"• Anna DeKimpe Wilson, pole vault, 5th with an 8'8 "• Kiara Scott, long jump, 7th with a 15'7 "The other men to score for the Quakers were:• 400-meter relay (Tre Stephens, Malik Reid, Eric Bryant, Alec Dews), 5th in 45.8• Dews, 100-meter dash, 6th in 11.29• Abraham Oh, pole vault, 7th in 10'6'• Marcaus Cooper, triple jump, 7th with a 39'8 "• Anthony Maggard, triple jump, 8th with a 39'5 "Bellarmine University won the women's meet with the Quakers finishing ninth of 16 teams. On the men's side, Centre won the event as the Quakers were 13th of 16 squads.The Quakers participate in the Indiana Div. III Championships at DePauw University next Saturday.
