FARGO, N.D. - The IUPUI men's cross country team is vying to capture the program's first-ever conference title this weekend at the Summit League Championship meet. The men's team comes in ranked a notable No. 8 in the Great Lakes Region, the highest ranking the program has ever achieved. Host North Dakota State holds a 15th place rank in the Midwest Region and is the league's only other regionally ranked team. South Dakota State has won four of the last five Summit League titles and was pegged as the league favorite according to the preseason polls.
