Anderson's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams each scored 10 points apiece competing at the Indiana Little State Championships hosted by Taylor University in Upland, Ind., Friday and Saturday.

Anderson's men placed fifth and women finished seventh at the Indiana Division III Track and Field Championships held at Blackstock Stadium in Greencastle, Ind., Saturday.

Mariah Murray won the high jump and Garrett Cooley placed second in the long jump to lead Anderson University track and field teams at the George Glass Invitational at Taylor University in Upland, Ind., Saturday.

Anderson's men placed seventh and women finished 13th at the Hanover Invitational, the Ravens first outdoor track and field meet of the season.

Anderson had 17 student-athletes from the winter sports season selected to the Tom Bohlsen Academic All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference team.

Anderson was picked to finish second in the Preseason Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field poll, voted on by the 10 conference coaches and released by the league office, Wednesday.

In the last couple of weeks, Garrett Cooley has gone from not being able to manage the stairs to becoming an NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field All-American.
