Ever since the IUPUI men's cross-country program joined the Horizon League in 2017, it has finished no worse than third in the Horizon League Championship each year (with said third-place finish coming in 2018). The Jaguars upgraded their podium position emphatically in 2019, earning their first-ever Horizon League title at the Valhalla Cross Country Course in Kentucky. IUPUI subsequently concluded its most recent fall campaign by placing 14th out of 29 teams at the 2019 NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
